W. Scott Russell
Attorney
Scott brings more than twenty years of experience as a high-profile family law litigator, as well as unique insight from his time serving as a Magistrate in the Warren County Domestic Relations Court. During his four years on the bench, he presided over hundreds of family law cases. His combined experience as both a practicing attorney and a magistrate gives him a unique perspective on the law and a clear understanding of how the court views family matters—an advantage he uses to advocate strongly for his clients.
A proud graduate of Xavier University, where he completed his undergraduate degree in just three years, Scott went on to earn his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. Throughout his career, he has represented thousands of clients with compassion, clarity, and dedication with a concentration on helping high net worth individuals and family business owners navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
Outside of work, Scott is a lifelong Cincinnati Bengals fan, roots for Xavier basketball and Michigan football, and has a love for travel that’s taken him across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Italy, and the Caribbean. Whether he's exploring the islands on a cruise or enjoying time in Costa Rica, Scott embraces new experiences with the same curiosity and passion that he brings to his work.
Scott knew he wanted to become a lawyer as early as high school. He told us, "My dad was a business owner and I saw him dealing with attorneys all the time and realized how helpful attorneys really are." That inspiration led him to a career of service, advocacy, and leadership in the legal field.
